Night Tree is one of my all-time favorite books to read to my students each year. The artwork it stunning and the surprise in the story, about why the family is going out at night to find "their tree" is a beautifully illustrated lesson for the students.

There are even some secrets hidden in one illustration!/5(). For my multicultural book on religion, I chose to read "Night Tree" by Eve Bunting.
